Well, not really free, you rely on other people's donations.

And in some cases, the donation is time. It obviously hasn't occured to the THC-damaged here to do a search using the term "dupenhagen moonbat" under "All Media Types," proving that some of us donate juuuust a wee bit of time.

I'm curious about your ethical theories. So far as I can see, you seem to be maintaining that because you contribute to the project of archiving materials, you are entitled to be rude to those who work on maintaining the technical infrastructure. I don't understand the logic.

Making bug reports is important. The manner in which bug reports are made is also important. Your initial post, spammed across multiple forums, is sarcastic and rude for no valid reason I can perceive. I understand it is easy to become frustrated by technical issues, but there is no reason to project that frustration at individuals who are not acting maliciously. Software development and maintenance is difficult, and there are plenty of bugs that crop up even in projects with unlimited budgets and the best technical expertise money can buy.

Collaborative projects work best when everyone has a cooperative attitude.

Spot on; Arbuthnot as well...I for one sometimes imagine there IS a malcontent trying to make my life miserable via technology, but see none here.

;)
